The Deal

A two-course lunch from Wilde’s seasonal menu (usually £15) may begin with a starter such as deep-fried brie with red pepper and a port and cranberry sauce or smoked salmon and chive tart with air-dried tomato salad. For the main course, diners may tuck into lamb belly with blanched kale, crushed new potatoes and red wine jus; pan-fried sardines with tomato salsa and salad; or a cheese omelette with thin or thick chips and salad. Those forgoing a starter may choose a dessert such as rhubarb and ginger sponge or poached pears in spiced red wine. Guests can stay refreshed with a glass of wine each (£6.30).

Wilde’s

The family-run Wilde’s is a Les Routiers-recommended wine bar and restaurant situated on Leamington Spa Parade. The kitchen prepares international meals from locally sourced, seasonal produce. Fare is complemented by over 50 varieties of wine plus beers and spirits from around the world. The restaurant features ambient lighting, wooden furnishings and framed artwork and regularly plays host to live music.
