Water enthusiasts can enjoy ten swimming passes (usually £4.65 per person per session) to use any day of the week and for a variety of sessions. The passes entitle swimmers to attend open swim, lane swim, deep-end width lengths, aquafit and young-at-heart sessions. The large shallow end is suitable for amateur swimmers.

The Merchant

Yearsley Swimming Pool is the largest in York and was built over 100 years ago. Its close proximity to the city centre has made it a popular destination for those after a leisurely swim and for guests looking to keep cool in the summer months. Regular group sessions include aquafit, and an inflatable obstacle course is popular when it makes an appearance. There are baby and toddler changing facilities, including large family cubicles, each equipped with toddler chairs and changing tables, while disabled facilities are also present.
