Yorkhill Children’s Charity is aiming to raise £500,000 this Christmas to help save and improve the lives of Scotland’s tiniest, most vulnerable premature babies. Babies from all over Scotland are treated in Glasgow’s special care baby units in those first few precious hours of life, and rely on innovative state of the art medical equipment that can help to save their tiny lives.

Donations will help them to buy the ventilators, incubators, monitors and cooling mattresses that are so vital to the care of babies who are born poorly, or too soon. The equipment that your donation will help to fund will help babies from all over Scotland who are treated at Glasgow’s neonatal units, which are at Yorkhill, the Southern General, the Princess Royal and the Royal Alexandra hospitals. These units work closely together and receive referrals from all over Scotland thanks to the specialist services and intensive care units available.
