Groupon launches Get Your Glad Drag On – a masterclass led by Drag Queen Cheryl Hole, to help you prep for your first big night out
Ahead of the hotly anticipated reopening of nightclubs and late-night bars, we’re all excited to hit the dancefloor for our first big night out in over a year and a half.
But, let’s face it, we’re feeling a little out of touch and are struggling to remember what going ‘out’ really feels like. So, to help you prep for your first big night out on the town, Groupon is launching - Get Your Glad Drag On - a workshop in London with renowned drag queen, Cheryl Hole, who will help you regain your confidence before you hit the dancefloor. Cheryl will give you her best tips on applying the ultimate make up that lasts, walking in heels, strutting your stuff on the dancefloor and even offering you a bank of showstopping chat up lines for flirting IRL.
The event, which will be taking place on 22nd July at Pineapple Studios from 11am, has limited availability – so apply for your ticket now! Click ‘buy now’ to enter for free. Please note that winners will be responsible for providing their own high heels, and base makeup (e.g foundation and bronzer etc) for the event.

GIVEAWAY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This page sets out the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Get Your Glad Drag On Prize Draw. This is a legal document which is the agreement between you (whom we refer to as “you”, “your” or “entrant”) and us. We are MyCityDeal Limited (trading as Groupon UK) and we are the promoter of the Get Your Glad Drag On Prize Draw. We are a company registered in England with our registered office at Floors 11-12, Aldgate Tower, 2 Leman Street, London E1 8FA (and we refer to ourselves as “Groupon UK” “we”, “us” or “our” in this document).
1.1 To enter the Get Your Glad Drag On Prize Draw you simply need to buy a free voucher on the Groupon deal page for the prize draw. An e-mail confirming you have purchased the voucher is not confirmation that you have won the prize draw.
1.2 The Get Your Glad Drags On Prize Draw will consist of one random draw of 6 names. The prize draw will be open to entrants from 23.59 (BST) Tuesday, 6th July 2021, and close at 23:59 (BST) Monday, 19th July 2021.
1.3 Any entries received after closing of this prize draw will be ineligible for consideration.
2.1. Only one entry per person is allowed. No third party or bulk entries will be permitted.
2.2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or older.
2.3. Groupon UK accepts no responsibility for entries that fail to be received or delivered. Proof of submission is not proof of entry.
2.4. Groupon UK reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may deny anybody entry at its sole discretion. Groupon UK does not accept liability for any ineligible entries.
2.5. Groupon UK may request any relevant information it views as reasonably necessary to verify eligibility. Failure to provide such information upon request will result in Groupon UK denying eligibility for the prize draw.
2.6. Winners must have a Groupon UK account to receive the prize.
3.1. There will be 6 winners of the prize draw
3.2. Each prize is one place at the 60 - 90 minute Get Your Glad Drag On Workshop to be held in Central London on 22 July 2021 at 11-12.30pm
3.3. Each prize is non-transferrable.
3.4. Each prize is as stated and you are not entitled to obtain another product or cash alternative from us.
3.5 Winners will be responsible for their own travel arrangements
3.6 Winners will be responsible for providing their own high heels, and base makeup (e.g foundation and bronzer etc) for the event
4.1. From the total number of eligible entries who have bought the free deal, 6 winners will be selected at random.
4.2 Groupon UK will select and notify each winner by email before 12:00 (BST) Tuesday 20th July 2021 that they have won. Each winner will be asked to email gladdrags@groupon.com and confirm their attendance.
5.1. If Groupon UK does not receive a response from the winner of a prize within 24 hours of being notified, Groupon UK reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to deem the prize as unaccepted and to offer the prize to an additional entrant.
5.2. If a prize is not accepted by the winner in accordance with the terms above, Groupon UK may, within one day, randomly select an additional winner via the same process used to select the initial winner. Such subsequent winner will be notified as per clause 4.2 save that such notification will be later than 12:00 (BST) Tuesday 20th July 2021.
6.1. Personal data provided to Groupon Goods for the purpose of entering this prize draw will be processed in accordance with the Groupon privacy statement or as otherwise set out in these terms and conditions. We will only use personal data submitted for the purposes of selecting, contacting and announcing winners. This is to meet our contractual commitments to you in these terms and conditions and our legitimate interest in showing that a winner has been selected.
7.1. Groupon UK shall be entitled to terminate or modify the prize draw or to modify these terms and conditions at any time prior to the closing date of the prize draw by publishing any such modification or termination on any Groupon UK website.
7.2. Failure to comply with any aspect of these terms and conditions will result in the invalidation of your entry. In the event of a dispute, the decision of Groupon UK shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.3. Groupon UK reserves the right to promote this prize draw on Groupon.co.uk, Facebook.com, Instagram.com and Twitter.com, subject to the terms and conditions governing the use of the aforementioned websites.
7.4. Groupon UK shall be under no obligation to run the prize draw or award prizes in the event it is unable to do so due to circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control. You agree that by entering this prize draw no obligation on the part of Groupon UK shall be attached for such events described in the preceding sentence.
7.5. Groupon UK accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering this prize draw or by the entrant’s acceptance of the prize provided that Groupon UK does not exclude or limit liability for any liability that cannot be excluded by law and nothing shall exclude Groupon UK’ liability for fraud or death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
7.6. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or liability caused by matters relating to this prize draw.
7.7. For entrants who enter from England or Wales, this promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all disputes arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. For entrants who enter from Scotland or Northern Ireland, this promotion shall be governed by the laws of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively and all disputes arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively.
7.8 Groupon reserves the right to move the event should Covid restrictions come into force, or if Groupon believes that there is a need to move the workshop to a later date for health and safety reasons.
7.9 Groupon reserves the right to turn away any attendees who are not willing to adhere to any health and safety guidelines that are required on the day of the workshop.
