While I do have a lotta love for luxury beauty products, every now and then I discover a budget buy that knocks my socks off and I end up reaching for it more often than its spendy sisters.
These are my current Top 5 Budget Beauty Buys, starting with my favourite:
Maybelline Lash Sensational, £7.99
Accurately described as a 'lash multiplying mascara', this is my go-to everyday mascara for long fluttery lashes with very little effort. I'd say it adds more length than volume, though it does add a little - and overall literally makes me look like I have better, lusher lashes than I do.
Soap & Glory Solar Powder, £11
Despite owning more high end bronzers than I care to admit, this is the one that I reach for most. I love that it contains two different shades that can be used separately (great for different times of year), or blended together - and work really well on my pale skin. The powders are soft and buttery, not a tell-tale streak in sight.
The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, £13
A solid butter that melts into oil on the skin to gently cleanse, removing all traces of makeup (and grime!). This rinses off easily with a damp face cloth, is quick and easy to use and I only need a tiny amount, love that the little tin is travel friendly too.
Max Factor Lipfinity Lipstick, £8.99
A long lasting lip formula that doesn't dry out the lips is a rare find, especially at budget prices. I have a couple of shades in this and the one pictured is Evermore Lush a mauve toned berry that's perfect for this time of year.
Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow, £10
A brow duo with colour and brow gel in one double ended tube, this adds natural-looking colour to define the brows and holds them in place all day, whatever the weather. The twist-up crayon is angled to allow for fine strokes or filling in bigger gaps.
