About Yorkshire Arboretum

Yorkshire Arboretum encompasses 120 acres of lakes and parkland containing over 6,000 trees from around the world. Visitors to the site can trek around the grounds on a number of trails and admire the greenery within the arboretum's botanical collection. These strolls can be accompanied by a guide at select times to enhance guests' knowledge of the vegetation and history of the woodland. A number of activities for children, including seed collecting, minibeast identification and bark rubbing, are available alongside a playground. Refreshments are on offer at the venue's cafe, which can be hired out for events such as weddings and private parties. Meanwhile, the on-site gift shop stocks souvenirs for friends and loved ones.
