What to expect at a gin tasting?

With this gin masterclass deal, visitors will be given an opportunity to explore five different spirits and understand both the technical and botanical aspects of the distilling process, as well as some of the traditions related to the gin culture. While guests will be offered a gin-based cocktail to drink, it is important to note that the recommended way to appreciate the samples is to spit them out after tasting. Most often the samples are best enjoyed neat, this is, however, subject to personal preference. The smell of gin is also a part of the experience. It is advised to blow the naturally occurring alcohol fumes off the glass so that the actual aroma can become more prominent.
