During RF micro-needling procedure, a device equipped with 64 tiny gold plated needles is used to create micro-injuries in the skin covering a larger area at one time. These needles penetrate the skin's surface, creating controlled channels. However, unlike traditional micro-needling, RF micro-needling also delivers radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers of the skin through these micro-channels.
