The Deal

An intensive half-day workshop gives participants a taste of digital photography basics, providing an overview of shutter speed, aperture, ISO, composition, shooting modes, as well as different lenses and equipment. Alternatively, the class can take the form of a four-hour practical walking tour of Glasgow’s iconic landmarks. Taking place during the day or at night, students can learn on the go as they are given professional guidance. For those wanting to prolong the tuition, classes can be spread over four weeks, with beginner or intermediate courses facilitating different experience levels. Introductory sessions cover a different element each week, such as exposure, creative techniques and understanding light. Intermediate tuition builds on these skills, stretching to more advanced methods, including the use of flash and shooting for editing.
