What’s included: 60-Minute Hawk Walk for one, two, or a family of four

This Hawk Walk is a taster for the falconry experience. On arrival, participants will be met by the falconer and introduced to the Harris Hawks. A falconers glove will be given to be used during the walk and participants will be instructed on how to handle the hawks. The walk itself lasts about an hour and covers some easy ground over farmland, through fields and woods with a few gates and stiles along the way. As the hawks follow on through the trees participants will get to call them down to their gloved fists for a titbit.

About Hawksflight Falconry
Based at Byrkley Park Garden Centre, Hawksflight Falconry hosts a number of birds of prey and owls, and also offers bird encounters. Visitors to the centre can get up close and personal with the birds, learn about their handling, and fly them to the gloved fist. The falconry centre also organises hawk walks as well as tuition days and courses for future hawk owners. Birthday packages, group bookings and photoshoots are also available.
