Hypnotherapy is a psychological technique which aims to induce relaxation to create a heightened state of suggestibility within the subconscious mind. This is when the therapist can then attempt to alter certain behaviours, such as eating habits and attitudes towards food.

Hypnotherapy Now is an Edinburgh-based hypnotherapy practice which offers services in fears and phobias, weight management and smoking cessation. Sessions are always conducted in the therapy room, and appointments are available Tuesday to Friday, until 6pm.

Restrictions: Valid Tue-Wed and Fri 9am-6pm and Thu 1.30pm-6pm. Must be 16 or older. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Must not be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or have psychosis. Efficacy dependent on client commitment. If unsuitable for treatment a full refund will be provided. Therapist-client confidentiality privileges apply excluding intent to harm. Min 1 week between sessions required.
