The Merchant

Native by Nick Nairn is run by the restaurateur, celebrity chef and food campaigner himself. Nairn became the youngest Scottish chef to win a Michelin Star in 1991 and operates cookery schools in Aberdeen and Lake of Menteith. The chef takes pride in crafting distinctive takes on Scottish classics using seasonal ingredients sourced regionally. The menu features meat from local farms, fresh seafood from Peterhead and plenty of vegetarian options.

The restaurant is situated within Hilton Garden Inn Aberdeen City Centre on Saint Andrew Street. The contemporary interior sports patterned feature walls, soft lighting and framed artwork while the bar serves an extensive and international array of beers, wines and spirits.
