The Deal
Upon arrival at this country estate, guests can go to the spa area for a welcome drink (usually £5) and get their robes, slippers and towels, ready to experience the spa (£25). Guests can leave their belongings in a locker in the changing rooms while they are making the most of the pool, steam room and sauna. This is punctuated by a choice of two 30-minute treatments, such as a back, neck and shoulder massage (£35) to ease tension in muscles, and a salt and oil scrub treatment (£35) to leave skin nourished and refreshed. Following the treatments, guests are led to the relaxation room, which has plush furnishings, soft lighting and chilled water jugs where one can slowly adjust and re-hydrate. Guests are then free to enjoy the spa for the rest of the day, or to explore the grounds and features of the hotel. There is also the option to include one-hour in the luxury VIP suite for a £50 surcharge per room.

Oulton Hall is a grand old country estate located a 20-minute drive from Leeds. The hall boasts a 27-hole golf complex, with an academy and driving range. Elsewhere, there is a spa, restaurant and lounge, ensuring that a good time is had by all. Each of the en suite guest bedrooms features hospitality tray, TV and robe and the spa also offers a variety of treatments. The lounge area with its French parlour theme is the perfect setting for a decadent afternoon tea, and the restaurant serves up a creative and ever-changing menu. In the Champagne bar, the long list of cocktails and extensive Champagne selection is conducive with a merry old time, set within a plush interior with chandeliers and a sun-trap terrace overlooking the grounds for warmer days.
