You'll also discover a lesser-known island than Bali, Gili Air. It's the perfect place to enjoy idyllic beaches, snorkeling and sumptuous sunsets.
You'll round off your stay with a visit to Lombok, a small, wild island located between the Lombok Strait and the Alas Strait. This small island is home to the indigenous Sasak people, renowned for their hospitality and kindness, as well as sacred mountains such as Gunung Rinjani. This tour will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Your detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in DENPASAR - UBUD
You will be met by your driver and your travel expert at the airport. After a small presentation of what awaits you during this wonderful Indonesian adventure, you'll head to your hotel. On the road, you'll get your first impression of Bali and the cultural diversity of the island's southern region. The little restaurants are sure to attract you with their colourful décor and exotic dishes, and you'll instantly relax once you see all the welcoming smiles that surround you.
Day 2: UBUD
You have the day off. Relax by the pool in your accommodation, or in one of the city's famous spas. You'll also have the chance to stroll the streets at your own pace, visiting art galleries and museums as well as markets and boutiques. Your private driver is not provided.
Day 3: UBUD
This morning you'll swap your ordinary vehicle for a VolksWagen convertible. This vintage vehicle will allow you to discover the splendid Balinese back roads with greater intensity. Throughout the day, you'll discover many different places to visit, including Pasar Gianyar, Tibuwana waterfall, Gunung Kawi, Tirta Empul, Tegalallang and Monkey forest. The activity lasts the whole day.
Day 4: UBUD
At around 4 a.m., you set off for the volcano Batur, an ascent on foot that takes between 1.5 and 2 hours. You reach the summit before the sun sets over the sea. You'll find yourself at the summit of the volcano, over 1,700 metres above sea level, flirting with the clouds. Below, Lake Batur. In the distance, Bali's other volcanoes: Abang, Agung and Batukaru on the right. Steam rises from the crater walls. You walk around the crater and back down. Meet up with your driver and get back in the car. If you have any energy left, visit Pura Batur, and relax in the natural hot springs.
Day 5: UBUD
Today, a private vehicle and driver are at your disposal. You'll set off on an excursion to discover Balinese culture around Mengwi. Your driver will take you to a small village near Mengwi, where you'll meet a Balinese family with whom you'll spend the day. Your hosts first show you around a local market where you can observe and smell all sorts of exotic products. Then you stop off at the village school before returning to the family home. Here, you'll be introduced to the confection of offerings and learn a great deal about Balinese rituals. Then it's off to the kitchen, where you'll be invited to help prepare the meal and brew the coffee**
After a hearty lunch, you'll stroll through the village to meet the locals, then head deep into the countryside to a small temple. Participate in a blessing ceremony before continuing on to the rizières. Your hosts will explain how the rice paddies work, and you'll be invited to plant the rice and try out the traditional ploughing tools.
By mid-afternoon, it's time to say goodbye to your hosts. Your driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel.
This is a full-day activity.
Day 6: GILI AIR
Transfer from Ubud to Padangbai pier. You will then board a boat at Padangbai to reach Gili Air. On arrival, no motorized vehicles are allowed! So you reach your accommodation by horse-drawn carriage (payable locally) or on foot.
Day 7: GILI AIR
**Gili Air will seduce you not only with its white sandy beaches, but also with its diving and snorkeling spots. You'll discover extraordinary seabeds, teeming with fish of all sizes and colors. A real change of scenery awaits you. Swim in these turquoise waters, surrounded by hundreds of colorful fish.
You may even be lucky enough to come face to face with a turtle swimming peacefully by. For the more adventurous, try scuba diving, where the occasional blacktip shark can be seen. Treat yourself to a sunbathing break or a stroll along the seafront - the island can easily be circumnavigated on foot or by bike (allow 1 hour by bike and around 2 hours on foot).
This day is all about nature and relaxation. Forget everyday life and escape to this island paradise!
Day 8: GILI AIR
You embark on a mask/tuba boat tour. Meet your captain and board a small wooden boat to discover the treasures of the Gili archipelago. You'll stop off at some of the best spots to snorkel and observe coral reefs and colorful fish, as well as sea turtles, of which there are many around the Gili Islands.
Day 9: GILI AIR - LOMBOK
This morning, you leave the island of Gili Air for the island of Lombok. You'll be met by a driver at the port, who will then take you to your hotel.
Day 10: LOMBOK
This morning, you leave the paradise beaches to discover Lombok's history and culture. Your first stop is Sukarara, a village renowned for the quality of its weaving. You can watch the Sasak, an ethnic group native to Lombok, weave. You'll be able to buy traditional fabrics called Ikat or Songket. After the weavers, visit the potters at Penujak. Admire Gerabah pottery woven from bamboo. Continue on to Sade, a traditional Sasak village with rice granaries and houses with traditional "alang-alang" roofs.
In the afternoon, you'll have time to relax on the beach.
Day 11: LOMBOK
Your car and driver are at your disposal. Take advantage of your time on this unspoilt island to discover the most beautiful beaches in southern Lombok. Inaccessible on foot, a driver will accompany you to these beaches with their enchanting panoramas. At the turn of a coconut tree, dazzling white sand and crystal-clear water will make your photos the envy of many!
Among our favorites: Mawun Beach, Kuta Beach, Pink Beach, Tanjung Aan, Selong Belanak, Pantai Mawi. You can also take surfing lessons, visit the waterfalls of North Lombok, or organize a scuba-diving or snorkeling trip around the nearby islands.
Day 12: LOMBOK - SANUR
You take a fast boat from Lombok to Serangan (30 minutes from Sanur), Bali. You leave Serangan for Sanur, in southern Bali.
Day 13: SANUR - Departure from DENPASAR
