The Deal
Two or four diners can indulge in three courses of Northern Ireland’s finest lunchtime cuisine (usually £25 and £50 respectively). Starters include Five Mile Town goats’ cheese tart with textures of organic beetroot; and roast cauliflower and smoked bacon soup with warm brioche bread. Moving on, diners can pick from main courses such as dry-aged Dromara beef with colcannon, braised onions, bacon and thyme; and galantine of roast stuffed chicken and wild mushrooms, served with root vegetables tarragon velouté. Last but not least, desserts include baked toffee and date pudding with apple purée, and rum and raisin ice cream.

The Merchant
The Michelin award-winning Restaurant 23 in Warrenpoint is the brainchild of acclaimed chef, Raymond McArdle. McArdle is a well-known figure in the local restaurant scene, having worked with the likes of Paul Rankin, Robbie Millar and Michael Deane, as well as featuring on BBC Two’s, Great British Menu. HIs current project sees him showcasing the finest of locally sourced produce, offering dishes that combine classic Northern Irish cooking with a modern, European twist.
