Restaurant 23 is an award-winning eatery within the Balmoral Warrenpoint hotel, overlooking the Carlingford Lough. Feasts will begin with crab and mussels and a prawn veloutre (usually £9) or a goats' cheese risotto (£8). For the main dish, dry-aged shorthorn beef with a smoked shallot and potato puree (£21.50) can be selected with each diner having a choice of side like mashed potato, chunky chips or seasonal veg (£2.50).
