The Specifics

• Length: 48cm or 65cm
• Antiparasitic collar protecting dogs against mosquitoes of the genus phlebotomine, ticks and fleas
• Protects up to six months against ticks and up to four months against fleas
• Repellent effect against the phlebotomos (leishmaniosis transmitting agent) and culicidae of the complex culex pipiens, transmitting agent of the canine heartworm
• Active substance: deltamethrin 40 mg/g
• External use
• One collar per animal
• Tighten the collar loosely around the animal’s neck
• Cut off excess collar, leaving 5cm behind the pin
• Do not use the collar on animals with extensive skin lesions
• Do not use on animals younger than seven weeks old
• Collar starts to be effective one week after it has been placed on the dog
• Cases of hypersensitivity reactions have been reported in people who have been in contact with the collar: erythema, inflammation, urticaria, pruritus, contact dermatitis and/or localized rash, and occasionally tachycardia, laryngeal edema, erythematous rash, difficulty breathing and/or tingling sensation in throat, mouth or face
• Follow the instructions:
  • Wash hands with soap and cold water after handling the collar
  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children
  • Do not allow children to play with the collar or suck it
  • Keep away from drinks, food and feed
  • Keep the wrap tightly closed until the moment of use
• No side effects have been observed in pregnant dogs that carried the collar during gestation and lactation period, nor in puppies from mothers treated until weaning
• Reaction with organophosphorus insecticides has been described
• This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions
• Deltamethrin is toxic to fish and bees
• Collar should not be thrown into the environment or into the water
