The Deal

Upon a visit to Simplicity Cafe and Restaurant, patrons may select a starter such as a charcuterie selection with marinated olives and crostini (usually £8.45) or broccoli soup with stilton, toasted hazelnuts and freshly baked bread (£6.55). For the main course, diners may tuck into a Scottish sirloin steak with sautéed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and béarnaise sauce (£15.95), roast salmon with cardamom, vichy carrots, roast new potatoes and wine butter sauce (£13.95) or wild mushroom risotto with herbs and parmesan (£13.95). The selection of desserts includes a cheeseboard with onion marmalade, celery, apples, grapes and biscuits (£9.25) and a mixed fruit bakewell tart with custard (£6.55). Visitors can stay refreshed with a glass of wine (£6.50) each, while parties of four can share a bottle (£28).
