The Deal

Up to six diners can sit down to a hearty lunch or dinner of rib-eye steak (usually £18.75). The 12oz cut of meat is grilled to customers’ preference and then served alongside fried mushrooms. Meals come with a side of either freshly prepared vegetables and chips, or a bowl of seasonal salad and new potatoes. A complimentary ‘top up’ service is offered on all vegetables and chips.

The Merchant

Situated in the village of Normanton on Soar, The Plough Inn Normanton is a riverside pub and restaurant. The decor features Mediterranean influences, and if looking for traditional character, the riverside garden with free moorings allows customers to drink and dine alfresco. In the winter months, patrons can snuggle up next to roaring log fires on classic leather sofas. The Riverview Room is available for private hire seven days a week and can cater for weddings, private luncheons, conferences and birthday celebrations.
