What you need to know about Red Funnel

Do I need a passport or ID to travel with Red Funnel?

No. The Isle of Wight is inside the UK and not subject to any border control. ID is required if you are claiming a concession discount or if you want to purchase alcohol and look under 21.

Can I leave my car at the Red Funnel terminal and travel go as a foot passenger?

Foot passengers are welcome, but unfortunately you cannot leave your car at the terminal. Parking is available at the Triangle Car Park, close to the terminal. Alternatively, you can try parking at the end of Town Quay or in the large multi-storey at Ocean Village.

Can I turn up before my booked time and get an earlier Red Funnel departure?

This is possible, subject to availability - but during busy periods it may not be an option and you may be asked to return in time for your booked crossing. Please call the Red Funnel Travel Centre for advice, on 023 8001 9192 and they’ll do their best to help.

How do I redeem my Red Funnel discount codes when booking?
