How to use a Shell Energy discount

In order to get a reduced rate on your Shell Energy tariff, be sure you’ve gone through these steps:

• Choose an offer, discount code or reward from our page by clicking the corresponding green prompt.
• If selecting an offer (no code), wait for the next window to appear and click the link to be taken through to the Shell Energy site – where your offer should be in place.
• As for a discount code, you cannot use these online as Shell Energy will personally contact you over phone to arrange an appointment – keep the code handy in case it can be used at this point.
• Alternatively, discount codes can be used in the Shell Energy Shop when buying smart technology, simply select to view your cart, click the prompt highlighted in the image below, paste your code and hit ‘Apply’.

Controlling your energy, account and payments can now be done in a single space thanks to the Shell Energy mobile app. Downloadable for both Apple and Android phones, it can be combined with the Wonderbill app so you can easily budget your monthly payments and save yourself a neat sum in the meantime.

Shell Energy cancellations

If you like ultimate flexibility in regards to your ability to cancel without penalty, then opt for a Variable Tariff – which excludes any exit fees – otherwise you may pay between £30 and £75 to leave a contract prematurely.
