Groupon Goods Marketplace Returns Policy

This Returns Policy only applies in respect of products purchased from merchants via Groupon Goods Marketplace. This Returns Policy does NOT apply in respect of any vouchers you purchased from Groupon UK which are redeemable with merchants for products.  For the avoidance of doubt, merchants (and not Groupon) are ultimately responsible for handling returns of products you purchase.

How to return a product purchased through Groupon Goods Marketplace:

You must follow the below process to return a product. Please note that you would not be able to submit a return request for any products which you have had for more than 14 calendar days.

Except in the case of a defective, faulty or non-conforming product, returns not complying with these requirements may be rejected.

1. Log in to your Groupon account and go to the My Groupons tab.
2. Find the order you want to return, click on View Details and then click on Return Package.
3. Select an option from the Reason for return menu and then add any additional information in the Returns details box.
4. 
Click Continue.  A ticket will then be submitted to the merchant to authorise a return.
5. Once the seller has authorised the return an email will be sent with instructions on how to return the item. 

Returning unwanted products:

You have 14 calendar days starting the day you, or a third party indicated by you, receive the product to cancel your contract, unless the product does not have cancellation rights. In the event you have ordered multiple Goods in one order, or the delivery of your Goods consists of multiple pieces, the cancellation period does not begin until you receive the last item or piece. Please return the product as soon as possible following the cancellation of your contract. The product must be sent to the merchant within 14 calendar days from your notice to the merchant of your cancellation.

Unwanted products must be returned unused and in good condition. You must take care to ensure that the product is properly packaged so that it will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found to be used beyond what it takes for you to reasonably inspect it or damaged, then the merchant may reject a refund.

Defective, faulty or non-conforming products:

We encourage you to inspect each product carefully upon receipt. If a product has a defect or fault existing at the time of delivery or otherwise does not conform to your order, you have a statutory right to return the product. We strongly encourage you to get in touch with the merchant as soon as you become aware of any problems.

If you return a defective, faulty or non-conforming product, the product will be inspected by the merchant upon arrival at their facility. If a defect or fault is found or the product does not match your order, we will be happy to provide a full refund on behalf of the merchant, in accordance with applicable law. Products that have been misused or changed may not be eligible for returns.

If you are eligible for a refund, such refund will be processed within 14 calendar days of our receipt of the product (or, if applicable, the date you provide us proof of shipment of the product to us).

Baby Products

If baby items are not returned in an original, new and unused condition, the merchant may deduct an amount reflecting the loss in value of the returned item, which may be as much as the full price.

Jewellery

Merchants cannot accept returns on any pierced body jewellery such as earrings if the packing seal has been broken or there is evidence to show the items have been worn.

Food, Beverages & Flowers

Merchants do not accept returns on perishable items such as food, beverages and flowers.

Clothes, Shoes & Watches

If clothes are not returned in an original, new and unused condition, the merchant may deduct an amount reflecting the loss in value of the returned item, which may be as much as the full price.

Merchants cannot accept returns on certain types of clothing such as underwear, swimwear and control wear if the packaging seal is broken or there is evidence to show the items have been worn.

Health & Beauty

Merchants cannot accept returns on items where packaging seals have been broken due to hygiene and safety reasons.

Furniture – Outdoor & Indoor

If furniture is not returned in an original, new and unused condition, the merchant may deduct an amount reflecting the loss in value of the returned item, which may be as much as the full price.

Furniture must fit through the doors at the delivery address to be returned.

Books

If books are not returned in an original, new and unused condition, the merchant may deduct an amount reflecting the loss in value of the returned item, which may be as much as the full price.

CDs & DVDs

Merchants cannot accept returns on CDs, DVDs or Software programmes if the plastic wrapping and/or security seal has been broken or of any digital downloads.

Periodicals & Magazines

Merchants cannot accept returns of periodicals and magazines.

Electronics

In order to protect your privacy and other interests in data, please delete all data on returned electronics and reset the products to factory settings. All data contained on returned items will be deleted.

 If you fail to comply with the provisions of this Returns Policy, merchants reserve the right to refuse returns.
