About D day museum
Portsmouth D-Day Museum relives that fateful turning point in World War Two through a variety of exhibits. These include a 272ft embroidery, an audio-visual theatre featuring film footage and images relating to the day, and displays of memorabilia and historical pieces. There's also a reconstruction of the Allied landings featuring authentic vehicles, and recorded reminiscences from war veterans.
