What goes on there?
All manner of racing action takes place at the Fife track with events like British Touring Cars and British Superbike races and the Scottish Motorshow, not to mention karting, various driving experiences, driver training, team building and trackdays.
How do the karting summer sprint races operate?
Encouraging friendly rivalries between friends or families, these races are made up of 25 uninterrupted laps of pure petrol-fuelled fun and exhilaration. The 500-metre track will see practice sessions determine grid positions before up to 12 drivers battle for position at the wheel of karts capable of speeds of up to 50mph. There is a podium presentation following the chequered flag with a winner's trophy, and a print out of lap times to take home and boast.
Tell us about the history of the circuit.
First hosting the squeal of spinning tyres in 1974, the venue was the brain-child of one-time sheep farmer, Tom Kinnaird. The facility changed hands a few times since, and is currently one of the most popular motorsport destinations in Scotland.
