Why is a debit or credit card requested when I book with Ibis?

Your bank details are required to confirm your online reservations unless special conditions are stated at the time of booking. This guarantees the reservation. The amount indicated will be charged by the hotel, on site, during your stay. Some reservations may require prepayment, which is performed by the hotel directly for all or part of your stay.

You must arrive at the hotel with the credit/debit card that guaranteed the booking or was used for prepayment.
