Time to fill this bad boy with great products like gadgets, electronics, housewares, gifts and other great offerings from Groupon Goods.
Here’s everything you need to know about Nike delivery, including all the options, costs, and how to get free delivery. We’ll also cover the essentials for returns and give you tips on how to save.
Nike offers free standard delivery to all its members, one of the numerous benefits you get when signing up. You can read about how to register alongside all the other perks in our Nike Membership guide. Delivery is also free on all orders over £50.
If you’re not a member, or if your orders often total less than £50, you can still occasionally find free delivery codes available. These can cover next day delivery, saving you £8 per order. You’ll be able to find any active free delivery discounts on our list of Nike voucher codes and deals.
Alongside standard delivery, there are a few other options to check out, depending on how quickly you want your purchase, and the delivery location. These usually include Next Day Delivery, Click & Collect, and Express Delivery. Certain items come with specific delivery times, as we’ll explain below.
Delivery is free for all Nike members. If you don’t want to join, you’ll need to pay £4.50 for delivery for orders under £50. Standard orders over that amount have automatic free delivery.
How long does Nike standard delivery take?
Standard delivery takes 2-5 business days (up to six days in more remote areas of the UK). It may take longer to receive your orders in rare cases during busy times. Delivery is always Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays.
Need your items fast? Next Day Delivery is available for £8 and takes one to two business days. Certain items don’t qualify for next day delivery, such as customised shirts and Nike By You shoes.
Nike next day delivery cut off
You’ll need to order before noon Monday to Thursday to qualify for next day delivery. Ordering after the cutoff time will carry the order over to the next business day.
One thing that sets this retailer apart is the ability to create custom trainers and football shirts, personalised to your tastes. For footwear, this is known as Nike By You, offering you the opportunity to modify a range of classic shoes like Air Max, Blazers, and Air Force 1. You can read more in our Nike shoe buying guide.
Because of increased manufacturing times, you’ll have to wait longer for these items to arrive. For customised shirts, you’ll wait two to five business days, whereas it takes two to five weeks for Nike By You shoes.
If it’s not feasible to have your order delivered to your home or work, don’t worry. That’s where Click & Collect comes in. This service lets you choose a different shipping address. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, Click & Collect is not currently available, but check the Nike Click & Collect page for changes in the future.
Once your order is complete, you’ll get an email with a tracking link that lets you see exactly where it is in the delivery cycle, and how long you can expect to wait for it. If you can’t see the email, you can check your status while logged into your account with the Orders tab on the site or app. If you aren’t a member, you can add your order number at the Nike tracking page.
Purchases will usually be delivered by DPD, DHL, or UPS. All these couriers offer full tracking services, and your purchase confirmation email will contain the courier’s name and a tracking link.
Nike offers a generous return period of 30 days on nearly every purchase, though a handful of items cut that timeframe shorter. If you’re a member, you’ll enjoy free shipping on returns. We’ll explain exactly how this policy works, along with simple steps to follow when returning items.
Nike offers a standard 30-day return window (currently extended to 60 days). If you’re a member, you can also try out any footwear or apparel and return it if you don’t love it. So if you’re not feeling a pair of trainers after a single run, it’s okay to send it back within this period (although there are exceptions). The policy even extends to customised Nike By You trainers.
Wearable tech and unused gift cards must be returned within 14 days of purchase, and gift bags aren't eligible. Finally, if you’ve bought golf clubs from Nike, you’ll need to contact them directly to arrange shipping for the return.
Any item can be returned in-store, except for goods bought using Klarna, as long as it’s a Nike-owned store and not a Nike partner or Nike clearance outlet (including the Chelsea Stadium megastore). Failing that, you can return online via post, as we’ll explain below.
How to return an item online
If you’re a member, postal and online returns are free. Members who order as a guest need to set up the return through the Nike website. Here’s how to set up a member return:
Here are the steps to return an item in-store (remember, you can’t return in-store purchases made with Klarna).
If you want to exchange your items rather than return them, call beforehand via Nike’s contact details. The retailer will tell you if the return is possible and if your desired items are available.
Nike will process in-store returns immediately, but the refund may take 3-5 days to clear. Orders made with PayPal can’t be returned in-store, and are refunded via gift card. Online returns can take up to two weeks to process through to your account.
